Basis of preparing the financial statements |
The company has no income and expenditure in its own right. All transactions for the year relate to the maintenance of the common parts and insurance of the buildings in accordance with the lease. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions is shown in separate service charge accounts for the property and do not form part of the annual accounts of the company, nor are they filed at Companies House. All service charges received from the owners and residents of the properties are held in trust for the owners and residents. |
