Company activities and impact

We delivered a number of activities that have included Mental Health & Well-being sessions, carers’ cafe, walking groups, physical activities such as cricket, football, tennis, walking, and badminton for community members including people with physical and learning disabilities, providing a drop-in service for carers, information sessions, such as dementia, healthy eating and weight management, keep fit classes and celebrating festivities. This benefitted the users of our projects by engaging in activities, reducing social isolation and increasing selfcareWe also set up first of its kind provision for children with autism and respite support for their carers. This was a day-service with a number of social activities throughout the day. This gave opportunities for activities in the community for children and respite for their parents.We set up a food bank and supporting families with hot meals as well as dry food parcels. We set up a period poverty station, so community members could help themselves to what is needed. We have also been working closely with partner organisations, we have been able to support the elderly and children in care over Christmas, by providing food parcels. This benefited people by having access to food and personal items during Covid.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have worked closely with our stakeholders in undertaking consultations and making sure our delivery of service is reflected. We have also had consultations with our service users, making sure their voice is heard and reflected in the delivery of services. Consultations are conducted face to face, over the telephone or attending existing service user groups to ensure service users have a voice in shaping the delivery of our services. Furthermore, we have a suggestion box where service users could put any suggestions with their names or anonymously which would help us design and deliver services.
