    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents the value of work carried out in respect of services and goods provided tocustomers. Income is stated net of value added tax and other sales taxes.

    Other accounting policies

    TaxationTaxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the IncomeStatement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensiveincome or directly in equity.Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that havebeen enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.Pension costs and other post-retirement benefitsThe company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Company activities and impact

Between December 2020-March 2021 we gave therapeutic yoga classes to the localTower Hamlets and Haringey/Islington & Hackney Communities in person wherepossible (because of the pandemic) and on zoom.Since lock down we took our therapeutic yoga & mindfulness classes online tocontinue to support the local community offering classes to support people’s mental &physical wellbeing. This included some more condition-specific classes, offeringspecialist classes for people with Cancer, Back Issues, Long Covid, Mental HealthIssues, Womb Health, Addiction and so on. We also got some funding to offer freeclasses to people suffering Long Covid and to offer the UK’s first teacher trainingpractice to Black and Asian Students. This we called The Revival Teacher TrainingProgramme and we enrolled 24 students to become therapeutic yoga teachers, takingthe mental & physical benefits of yoga back into their communities.We also provided laugher yoga and desk yoga to NEL, NHS East London working withNHS staff.The director of the project Claire Whalley, also ran a number of therapeutic yogaretreats for people across the country in both the New Forest and Suffolk.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are:1. Our customers – yoga students and NHS patients who self-refer or have been referredto partake in our therapeutic yoga services.2. Our employees – during this audited year we employed 1 staff and 2 self employedconsultants to help run the company, conduct outreach and administerour classes online on zoom and also run the Revival Teacher Training Programme.3. Our volunteers – during this audited year, we had 4 volunteers who help withgrant applications, social media and marketing.4. Board Directors and Advisors.5. Our suppliers – our yoga teachers and psychotherapists offering specialist classesand student/patient support.6. Investors offering grants – during this audited year we received grants from TheNewby Trust, The National Lottery, London Catalyst and East End CommunityFund.
