The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime'.
COVID 19 |
During the first quarter of 2020 a new strain of coronavirus, COVID-19, caused a pandemic and the British government took stringent measures to try and contain the spread of the virus in the United Kingdom. There were enforced lockdowns during 2020 and the early part of 2021 so the salon was closed until restrictions were eased from 12 April 2021. The company took advantage of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme where possible to place an employee on furlough and also received grants relating to 'close contact' and council discretion. The company continued to cover business overheads within its usual banking facilities.
