The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 October 2022

Principal activities of the company

During this year work focussed mainly around six projects. Pool Arts: Mentoring artists who have mental health issues and needs. Supporting them with their practice, putting on exhibitions. Challenging the stigma around mental health and encouraging connection and positive change through art. The TLC Art drop-in: Offering free art classes and guidance to people from one of the mot deprived areas in the UK (Ardwick), supporting them to build confidence and skill. Doing lots of outreach to invite people in and putting on projects to connect people within their community through art creation and participation. Reclaim the Frame: Creating film events which showcase marginalised film makers and important issues. Reaching out to different communities to increase arts engagement and build confidence. Events encourage discussion and connection with focus on solutions to issues through the creation of film events. Lova Inceptions: creation of a light and sound project building installations at festivals that utilise healing frequencies and soothing lights. Intended to engage people with art installations whilst increasing wellbeing and calm. Back Of The Brain: Creation of a musical project which enables the creation of music as a form of therapeutic practice without any training. Building and connecting communities of marginalised creatives to create events showcasing work and encouraging connection and conversation. MADE with Manchester Art Gallery: Working with neuro-diverse young people to create a sound project to encourage people to engage with art.

Consultation with stakeholders

Throughout all project consultation occurs with stakeholders. Galleries and established organisations we work with such as Islington Mill, Corsica Studios, SMBC etc. Work is always in consultation with artists and communities and at all parts co-created and socially focussed.

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £23,570There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
