Books and educational material on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis have been given out to doctors at educational events and through mailshots. This improves their understanding of this illness and enables them to better support their patients. Patients that suffer with the illness are very often isolated, so in addition to the above we have created a website where we can regularly communicate with members to offer advice and support.
prior to any fundraising activities for the CIC it is agreed at the outset between all contributors how the funds would be spent. We also consulted with everyone in the group as to how we could raise funds and promote education for Doctors and others.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
