The company helps to support the mental health and wellbeing of children, families and individuals in Merseyside. It does this via a range of activities, events and services. During the financial year 2022/23 the company undertook a range of activities which have benefited the community, including.:Nature for Wellbeing and Nature Club Projects: Free and subsidised activities, events and sessions outside in nature, using positive psychology techniques, nature connectedness and relationship building to support the wellbeing of children, families and older people. Delivered several time a week across the year at various locations in Liverpool, including: Mab Lane Woodland, Croxteth Park, ChildwaH Woods, Rice Lane Farm, Springfield Park, The Drive L14 and Lister Steps L13. Supporting wellbeing & mental health through nature-connectedness, positive emotion, engagement, social connections, belonging, achievement, resittence, mindfulness and character strengths. Some benefits to the community = Improved mental health and wellbeing, enhanced physical health, quality family time, environmental education, community engagement, stress reduction, accessible recreation, reduced social isolation. Provided opportunities for volunteers. Paid work for local people.
