The company's activities are aimed at children and young people who attend educational or community settings. The activities they partake in have a positive effect on their impact on their relationships with teachers, families, peers, and others who they interact with in the community such as librarians. It also increases their confidence and competence in wider social situations. We also facilitate sessions with adults at risk of poor mental health.During the year ending 2023 we have developed and delivered 3 programs funded by HS2. One program is for toddlers, one for children age 7-11 and one for adults. The aim of the program is to develop a positive relationship with nature and outdoors so they are passionate to protect the green spaces in their local areaWe have also delivered mindfulness sessions to children as part of a HAF program. We have also delivered sessions in schools around mental wellbeing.Evaluation demonstrates that the impact of sessions has been to increase self-esteem and confidence , develop empathy, ignite enthusiasm for nature and improve behaviour and relationships.
The company's stakeholders are education and community groups, including teachers, children, parents, and community champions. The company directors have consulted with the stakeholders to identify needs and in turn develop programmes to meet those needs effectively.We have received verbal and written feedback from the stakeholders to inform future practise. We regularly use social media to research current trends and gather less formal feedback.
