The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 January 2023

Principal activities of the company

To promote the preservation of good mental health in particular by enabling and empowering everyone experiencing mental health problems to live, manager and recover. To support the needs of people with mental ill health by working to increase understanding of mental health by gathering and disseminating information and working to raise awareness to promote understanding and challenging stigma and discrimination.

Political and charitable donations

The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the charitable company transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charitable company and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies House Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charitable company and hence for taking reasonable steps for prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 January 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy
