Company activities and impact

Lighthouse Navigation NE was setup in November 2021with the two directors seeing a need of an education and training establishment that focuses on holistic solutions in education and mental health awareness. Where the stakeholders improve and develop a resilience to mental health and well-being, academic achievement, confidence, self-belief, self-esteem, and improve and add to their employability and life skills. Activities:GardeningMenopause AwarenessEmployabilityEnglishCooking on a BudgetCounsellingHolistic TreatmentsDigital AwarenessHardship SupportMental Health AwarenessDyslexia and Autism Awareness and support.These activities have improved the community spirit by increased the global development of each stakeholder, building confidence and self-esteem, encouraging them to meet their goals and forge stronger friendships and ties with their local communities.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders are the students, businesses that employ us to deliver course on their behalf, grant funders and those who use us for improvement of their mental health and well-being and employability. Stakeholders are consulted on a regular basis:Students at the end of each teaching session through questions and conversations about what they have learnt and how they felt the session went. This is also recorded in the student learning plan which details their aims and objectives, progression and next steps.Businesses are asked for feedback through a sequence of meetings.Grant Funders are invited to visit us at anytime and regular open days, we complete detailed reports to say how the funding has been spent, the progress the stakeholders have made, and the improvements made through the feedback received form both the students and the grant funders. Through this feedback and the Friends of Lighthouse Navigation NE we have added to repertoire of delivery services.

Directors' remuneration totalled £27,615No directors remuneration has been made other than salaries which are accounted for in the accounts.
