Partition Education Group has listened to and addressed the needs of our community to better understand our shared history. This has involved young people, teachers, parents and others meeting to reflect on their own education. Issues around race, religion, colonialism, inequality and difference can be difficult to discuss. Our community has appreciated the safe spaces in which to talk and reflect on our history and how that has shaped the U.K. into what it is today.
We have teachers, parents and young people as stakeholders. Having consulted through the use of social media and our networks, we understood there was a need for us to create opportunities for people to meet to reflect, to share best practice, to create resources and learning materials which could be used to educate further. These resources will be used to support a more consistent approach in educating on som every difficult topics. We are also working closely with other groups which share our values and purpose. Any feedback received is used to consider how we can best deliver on our objectives.
No remuneration was received
