PART 1 - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES AND IMPACTIn the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. Providing in-person and online events specifically for the autistic community, their families and professionals. Interactive, information and bespoke programs tailored for the vast range of needs. he business activities benefited the community for the following:- Continue to host Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programs in Croydon, Lambeth and Wandsworth supported by local councils and funded by Dept of Education in providing enriching programs for SEND children eligible for free school meals (FSM). - iThrive programs - 6 week programs for 18 – 24 year olds (siblings welcome)- Exhibited and Presentation at the National Autism Show – London, Birmingham and Manchester- residents and neighbouring residents were able to explore resources, information and up to date policies attending local and national groups with updates online and social media- local street parties and celebration King’s Coronation West Norwood- online coffee mornings for parents’ carers, 50 plus and and professionals- online training with Anna Freud Centre, AT-Autism and National Autistic Society- online presentations with 6 monthly sessions PDA Society, Ministry of Defense, 50 Plus and working in partnership with local, national and international organisations- running weekly autism support groups for parents and carers in term time onlyfamily day trips out to beach, theme parks, cinema and other places of interest- speaking engagements: ITAKOM, Edinburgh, QA Cheltenham and New Scotland Yard- providing CPD training - “autism: cultural perspective’ and autism- Autism: Stop & Search workshops Lambeth / Southwark- attend local and national organisations, SWL ICB and thinking partners to provide insight to expert by lived experiences from a parent perspective and a cultural perspective- Run weekly autism inclusive family U5’s at West Norwood Leisure Centre
The company’s stakeholders are local and national residents of families with autistic children, young people and adults. This includes visitors, professionals, autistic adults, and researchers to A2ndvoice CIC to linking and signposting families to the relevant service providers.Company Directors come with different background of experiences in autism and SEND, health and wellbeing, cultural appropriate support and information, foster caring, immigrations, leisure and activities who live locally and nationally for a number of years and developed the business model for A2ndvoice CIC.As part of the criteria applying for funding and grants, we ask participants to fill in an evaluation forms to find out what services they would require thereafter. Due to the GDPR and information sharing we discard of documents once project is complete.It’s crucial in making sure we listen to the voices to making sure we provide our specialist provision and continue to evolve in the transition stages
