Company activities and impact

In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. The company is a key partner in the redevelopment programme to build a state-of-the art community centre. Maxilla City CIC advises the local authority on design, community engagement, strategy, sustainability, and business planning. The organisation has also fundraised to run half-term events for primary school children.The Maxilla Bays are located underneath the Westway flyover in North Kensington and comprise of 3 bays. Maxilla City will work towards developing bays 17-19, alongside Adult Social Care who will occupy Bay 19, and we will both have use of Bay 18.

Consultation with stakeholders

The most important stakeholder is the North Kensington community of both residents and the local voluntary sector. To date, Maxilla City CIC has set-up working relationships with over 25 organisations to learn and understand how they have responded to changes in local demands. The outreach continues to meaningfully engage with partners in how to effectively manage the space once it is operational. Once there is a construction timetable, the plan is to reach out to local residents to ensure diverse thoughts are represented

Directors' remuneration

The aggregate amount of emoluments paid to or receivable by the 5 directors in respect of qualifying services was £39,175. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the renumeration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office that require to be disclosed

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration has been made
