She Flies CIC has hosted a number of events and activities that support women in extreme sports, building confidence, encouraging participation, understanding the safety and strengthening the community around them. The events have been online workshops, in person ‘mini festivals’.The feedback from all events often recognises the importance and benefits of this community in each individuals personal journey, hurdles and ambition.
The stakeholders of the company are the director, Josie West and the affiliates, of which there are 45. These stakeholders have taken part in a community workshop that aligns the strategy of She Flies with the aim and mission of the organisation. The output of the workshop led to a stronger focus on local community and empowering the stakeholders to host events themselves in their local areas, under the She Flies brand.
£2,465 was paid to Josie West to cover time spent running events.
