This turnover policy outlines the guidelines for managing revenue generated from these activities. As an organization primarily staffed by volunteers, we aim to ensure financial transparency and sustainability.Pricing and Sales:Workshop Fees: LZL will establish reasonable fees for zine-making workshops, taking into consideration production costs, venue expenses, and accessibility to the community.Transparency: Workshop fees will be transparently communicated to participants and the community through our website, promotional materials, and direct communication.Sales Channels:3. Company activities and impact

During the last financial year, the "Leicester Zine Library" (LZL) organized various activities:Pop-Up Zine Making Workshops: LZL conducted multiple pop-up workshops at the Leicester Creative Business (LCB) Depot. These workshops focused on teaching young people about the art of zine making, with a particular emphasis on the theme of graffiti within zine culture. Participants had the opportunity to explore the history and creative process of zines, with a specific focus on graffiti-related content.Zine Club at Leicester Print Workshop: LZL established a Zine Club at the Leicester Print Workshop. This club served as a central hub for the local zine-making community, where enthusiasts could come together, collaborate, and share their zines, with a special emphasis on zines related to graffiti art.Community Engagement: Throughout the year, LZL actively engaged with the local community, schools, and youth organizations to promote zine culture and creative expression. This might have included organizing events, exhibitions, or zine fairs to showcase the work of local zine makers and creators, with a focus on zines that explored graffiti as an artistic theme.In summary, the "Leicester Zine Library" (LZL) was deeply involved in activities related to zine making with a focus on graffiti as a thematic element during the last financial year, while also fostering a sense of community and creative expression among zine enthusiasts.

Consultation with stakeholders

Zine Club and Community Consultation: The "Leicester Zine Library" (LZL) established a Zine Club that served a dual purpose. It acted as a meetup for zine enthusiasts to share their work, collaborate on zine projects, and foster creative expression within the local zine-making community. Additionally, the Zine Club provided a platform for community consultation, giving everyone a chance to contribute to LZL's plans and initiatives.Formation of a Steering Group: As a direct outcome of this community consultation and engagement within the Zine Club, the Leicester Zine Library made the decision to advertise for the creation of a more formal steering group. This steering group would play a pivotal role in shaping LZL's future direction, ensuring that the community's interests and input were effectively represented and considered in decision-making processes.In summary, the Zine Club at LZL not only facilitated creative collaboration but also served as a space for community engagement and consultation, ultimately leading to the formation of a formal steering group to guide the library's activities and align them with community interests.
