The company runs martial arts fitness with a particular emphasis on overall wellbeing and mind health using the Martial arts inspired principles such as discipline and respect. The organisation was incorporated in September 2022 . During the financial year 2022-2023, our activities have benefited the community in the following ways:We have provided 8 weekly sessions supporting those who may be experiencing stress, anxiety or social isolation, encouraging health an positive participation in activity and learning new skills such as self defence and/or improving their physical and mental health. We also work with People who in particular may not typically be able to access facilities for social, financial or emotional reasons.We are passionate about bolton, its community and its vision to build/promote stronger, cohesive, more confident communities in which people feel safe, welcome and connected.We offered a nominal charge classes to people using martial arts background, principles and techniques to promote a health lifestyle, self discipline and respect whilst encouraging people and communities to to work cohesively. We currently cater for all age groups from 5 upwards and currently run mixed gender classes across 6 days and varying time from morning to evenings.
The organisations stakeholders are local residents on the Bolton area who my not ordinarily be able to access our facilities for social or economic reasons.We ask everyone participating in the class to fill in a short questionnaire about their health and wellbeing prior to the sessions and on completion of the course. This has helped us to build up a profile of participants needs and what we can do to meet them more effectively. Our research has enabled us to identify that all participants have seen overall benefits to their wellbeing positively impacting other areas of their lives and others.
