Our educational hub provides learning opportunities tailored towards the needs of members of our local and wider communities. This financial year we have continued to support people by offering a range of educational and cultural activities and events . We hosted an Art exhibition this year to support the work of a local muralist raising aware ness of the importance of movement and exercise on mental health. We also hosted an event of rock painting and kindness to support those struggling with their mental health on an ongoing basis and in particular post covid. BCT worked in partnership with the Local Authority and We are with You on a Criminal Justice Programe to support those who have recently been re introduced into the community after periods in prison.Additionally we ran programmes of self defence and awareness of potential danger . Movement and exercise is a primary focus using breathing techniques to encourage calmness and well balanced thoughts Supporting the most emotionally vulnerable to gain and develop thoughts of positivity and can do attitudes.BCT has also supported non native speakers of English with languagea quistion in order to assist them within the workforce .
Consultations take place informally on a daily basis by listening to the voice of those participants .BCT offers the opportunity for members of thelocal community to develop their confidence and to be able to voice their opinions in a non threatening and non judgemental environment putting forwards their View point to be able to create and develop provision that meets individual and group needs in meaningful ways.
