Company activities and impact

Peak Combat Sports CIC provides affordable, accessible and inclusive martial arts tuition and will do so in a manner which removes many of the usual barriers to getting started in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts (with a particular focus on participation by women and children). The company will re-invest profits as a means of (inter alia) supporting those who wish to participate in martial arts at a competitive level, and in encouraging wider participation within the community (including via its website). Finally, the company provides, at affordable rates, a space for other local organisations and sports professionals to carry out activities for the benefit of the wider community.Peak Combat Sports CIC delivers women's only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes, the only one of its' kind in Stafford. These classes provide women who may feel uncomfortable training a close-contact physical activity with men, a space to develop their skills and fitness in a comfortable and safe environment. The Club also hosts a children's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu programme, built to support them in the development of martial arts skills and to encourage them in participating in physical activity in a community centered around skill development and confidence building.
