Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 March 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen not to file a copy of the company's profit and loss account.

Company activities and impact

The A Team Projects CIC is a Community Interest Company that works in partnership with residents, businesses, community groups, voluntary sector, housing and local authorities to bring about social, economic and environment improvements in London. The company objectives are to provide individuals who are recovering from mental ill health with a number of opportunities to enhance quality of life and make a difference to lives and that of their families. In addition, we offer training, advice, support and work experience in a range of practical jobs. For example, with gardening, cleaning, painting and house clearance's and waste removal.Our activities in the year have included:Over the past year we have undertaken many jobs in the community working alongside social workers, support workers, care co-ordinators, Housing officers, Council Workers, to help the residents in Haringey and surrounding areas to help enhance their way of living and a better living space and improving their mental health. Mental health rehabilitation based on a model of care rather than a medical approach has been proven to have positive effects if introduced quickly and effectively as people need support. Making people feel more independent and confident will also improve quality of life.The organisation continues to recruit and develop new volunteers to take part in a range of administration, Training and other activities.We have attended a number of volunteer fairs to recruit volunteers to work on the project at the bridge renewal trust and the peoples fair at Tottenham green leisure centre hosted by the mayor of Haringey and other fairs.We recruited a volunteer from bridge renewal trust to help with out with our admin.We targeted residents through Job Centre plus, local health centres, GP surgeries and community groups/centres who were struggling to find suitable activities with work options around gardening, cleaning, household removals, de-cluttering and DIY tasks in the community.Our 2005 vehicle was been charged by ULEZ, which was costing us £12.50 a day and due to this we are seeking to purchase or hire a newer vehicle for the future.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders include our funders, partner organisations, volunteers and service users.Community feedback on work supervised and completed by volunteers has been positive and reflected in further recommendations for tasks with partners including Homes for Haringey, Haringey council, St Mungo's and other social housing providers.
