Northern Cultural Projects (NCP) Community Interest Company is a community history and cultural organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne. It works predominantly with diverse communities across the North East. In 2022-23 we focused on a range of projects on the Byker housing estate. These included a participatory architectural research project funded by Newcastle University, a HAF summer programme and a series of Singing / Songwriting workshops for young people funded by Northumbria Police Crime Commissioner.
All our community projects are co-designed with participants and have steering groups to help with planning and implementation.
