2022-2023 has been a productive year. Finances have grown and become a stable model. More volunteers have approached creative minds NE to deliver our sessions and events, and many of our regular students have been joined by never participants wanting lessons in music. August 2023 saw an exiting new course begin in creative writing. This is run by a fellow director, and an experienced editor.Creative minds continues to charge low, reasonable price for our services which meet our annual financial commitments and afford a small saving buffer of about 10% of total income. We still offer free lessons to those least able to pay, and we still provide free enhanced DBS for our volunteers. Finally, Creative minds has offered space and instruments to aid start up businesses without them or us having a huge risk. We believe this is a unique offer and meets our commitment to helping the community in every way possible.
All Director and exective are volunteers. We all share a chat group online which we use daily. We all see each other once a week at least and discuss business, and we all formally meet weekly to further discuss business. All child students parents ar well as all adult learners have full control over what songs are taught, the pace, and whether they perform live. All cost increases and major changes to teaching are discussed with a sample of parents and students( as many as reasonably practicable) and our aim is to work with and for the community whilst maintaining our financial commitments.
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
