Company activities and impact

We carried out programmes that included a combination of face to face, online training and 1:1 coaching for people living with anxiety and low mood/ depression. The feedback was excellent with participants reporting significant improvement in their mental health outcomes. Some of the feedback has been really quite life changing. Several participants who attended the online programme were really isolated and not leaving the house much, if at all at the beginning of the programme, but by the end of the programme had increased self-care activities and were engaging in social activities outside of the home.

Consultation with stakeholders

We work with a diverse community across South Wales, predominantely in the Swansea and Swansea Valleys areas. What unites our 'community' is the need for support with mental health and emotional wellbeing, the majority of our community are individuals living with anxiety, low mood and depression, to support stakeholder engagement our community can be divided into the following subcategories:-Adults seeking support through local GP's and Social Prescription Service- Over 50's- Survivors of domestic abuse- Carers experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional wellbeing-Refugees and Asylum Seekers-Long-term unemployed-University students We engage with the community through ongoing partnerships/ relationships with the following organisations, who can also be defined as part of our 'community': - Swansea Council for Voluntary Services and the Social Prescribers Team- The Carers Centre- The African Community Centre- Llamau- Womens Aid Swansea- Swansea University Student Wellbeing and Student Welfare TeamsCommunity members also engage with us independently, some are previous participants of our programmes and some engage through our online platforms or word-of-mouth.During this year we consulted through meetings, interviews and online questionnaires, which helped us to design the programmes for that year and the following year that we are currently in.
