Also included are grants of £53,855.25 from Embassy of Ireland (including £13,080 income in advance from previous year and accruing £13,591.75 to 23/24), £9910 from The National Lottery Community Fund, and £3697.96 from Culture Ireland. DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE: EMIGRANT SUPPORT PROGRAMME Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade: The Emigrant Support Programme allocated us grants of £54,367 for the year from 1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023 (£56,871 granted less £2,504 underspend from previous grant). Nine months grant income was utilised in the period to 31st March 2023. Three months grant income amounting to £13,591.75 has been deferred to the 2023-24 year and will be utilised by 30th June 2023. Grant income amounting to £13,080 deferred from 2021-22 has been utilised this year. The Emigrant Support Programme letter of grant offer is to fund the following: Offer Heritage and Resource Centre £1,466 North East Irish Network £25,000 Raised on Songs and Stories £3,630 Development Programme £26,775 Projects funded by these grants were as follows: Artist Fees £18,366.51 Artist Travel & Hospitality £6,205.49 Classes Expenses £4,895.43 Newsletter Expenses £9,932.83 Podcast Expenses £28.49 Project Expenses £24,013.83 |
