To raise the awareness of the importance of a better GRT ( Gypsy, Roma and Travellers) representation and political involvement. Implementation of such a project as will give us the opportunity to engage with GRT communities al over UK.

Company activities and impact

- engaging the GRT ( Gypsy, Roma and Travellers) communities al over UK in political and social activities.- a better GRT representation and political involvment.- developing GR8 Power networking. After the completion of the project GR8 Power will continue to activate and the following activity will be the Civic Participation Awareness through Electoral Education Campaign.- A better communication and interaction at local level, between GRT communities on one side, and on the other side, the local authorities, political parties and other relevant organisations.-Improved access of GRT communities to the local public services.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders of the company are the GRT ( Gypsy, Roma and Travellers) community in UK on one hand and public & political authorities on other hand. ROTA is making big efforts in shifting the GRT civil society “behavior”, by raising awareness of the importance of human right defending, campaigning, advocacy and political representation in the process of improving the GRT situation in UK.This project will give us the opportunity to create a strong network that promotes the GRT political participation and increase the involvement of GRT civic participation.The Activity schedule has been set up to start in April 2023 by selecting the Project Coordinator and preparing the marketing publishing and background. Then in July 2023 there are planned a few workshops and a National Workshop in London. Company is looking to bring initially 30 participants for a training and also distribute learning materials.
