Company activities and impact

We have provided ongoing classes for the capoeira community in Bristol and have put on national level events, attracting Bristol practitioners as well as students and teachers from around the country. We have created a better promotion package which has allowed us to put on new beginners level classes and introduce the art to a wider public. We have delivered several public performances as well as regular monthly group events and we have supported creative development of the group's upcoming teachers. We have participated in the international capoeira community, holding events for visiting masters of the art and maintaining links with our group's master. Our current attendance figures are higher than they have been for years and we feel that our delivery, both in performance and teaching, is higher than it has ever been.

Consultation with stakeholders

We hold regular group meetings where we share and consult on the direction of the company, and the directors meet with core stakeholders to hold more detailed discussions about the company's practice.
