Our projects are:1. Stradbroke Village Website (www.stradbroke.org.uk and Facebook Page)The website has been running for over 16 years and providing up-to-date information about the village, events and is widely used by members of the community. It is a resource for local residents, visitors and those who used to live in Stradbroke or are planning to move. The Facebook page continues to grow and we see this as an increasingly important part of our web resource.2. Radio StradbrokeRadio Stradbroke has been operational since 2006 and regularly has over 100 listeners per show. It broadcasts live once a week and broadcasts from a 2 day music festival and other events during the Summer. It currently mainly broadcasts music. It encourages local musical talent by inviting up-and-coming bands to perform and has both a local and worldwide audience due to the variety of music. Our live video broadcasts on Facebook Live have continues to expand this year with some receiving over 1,000 views3. Stradbroke Village Archive (http://stradbrokearchive.org.uk)The archive has had an online presence for five years and has had over 30,000 unique views4. Stradbroke Music DayStradbroke Music Day is a one day music festival held annually in the village with over 500 people attending. It supports local music and provides entertainment.
The company’s stakeholders are residents of the village, visitors to the village, and visitors to the company’s online resources. All the directors of the company have lived in the village for at least 14 years (and in some case all their lives)As the company is a media enterprise consultation with stakeholders is undertaken regularly in the form of feedback by social media or via email. Thus the website will carry posts by people registered as users and the radio station will play requests and respond to social media interaction in real time. The archive has a search facility, as well as responding to enquiries about the history of the village or about specific photographs or artefacts.
