The activities of the company and its impact in 2022 have been to plant additional trees with a target of around 1600 by November 2023 in the community which have been awarded to us so far by The Woodland Trust. We continue to complete Beach Cleans by Kayak with support in the form of a grant from the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB Sustainable Development Fund. We intend to continue with these events, educating and engaging with local communities Via donations and pledges. We still intend to lease a parcel / parcels of land to develop into a protected wildlife area with more trees planted, wild flower meadows and orchards, an apiary and foraging area. We want to engage the community in this work, we will need help and volunteers to plant, clear etc, and will in turn ensure that this wonderful area is available and open for the local community to enjoy and benefit from. Over the next few years this should dramatically increase the biodiversity of the immediate as well as the surrounding areas. The hope is that the wildlife area would also have enough income to provide an income to cover at least one full time wage for a ranger, potentially two, to maintain the area, work with volunteers, run educational courses on what we intend to achieve, on the beekeeping work, foraging and entomology. These courses would allow us to work more in the community, planting more trees and creating more areas of wild for people to enjoy, relax and engage with nature.
The stakeholders are also the directors so consultation is automatic
No remuneration was received
