For the period ended 30 April 2021 the Company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006.

Members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the period in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - small entities.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the statement of comprehensive income in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

General information

Bradbury House Properties Limited is a private company limited by share capital and incorporated in England & Wales. 
The registered office and principal place of business is First Floor, Unit 1, Bromley Yard, Bromley Road, Stanton Drew, Bristol, BS39 4DE.
The principal activity of the company is that of a property holding company.
The accounts are presented with rounding to the nearest whole pound.

2.Accounting policies

 
2.1

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Section 1A of Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.

The preparation of financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 requires the use of certain critical accounting estimates. It also requires management to exercise judgment in applying the Company's accounting policies.

  
2.2

Investment property

The investment property is occupied by the group and is held at cost less depreciation in accordance with the FRS 102 Trienniel Review. No depreciation is charged as the residual value is deemed to be in excess of the cost.

 
2.3

Financial instruments

The Company only enters into basic financial instrument transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities like trade and other debtors and creditors, loans from banks and other third parties, loans to related parties and investments in ordinary shares.

 
2.4

Creditors

Short term creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method.

Related party transactions

The company is exempt from disclosing related party transactions with other 100% owned members of the group headed by Bradbury House Limited by virtue of FRS102 Section 33.5.

Post balance sheet events

Subsequent to the year end, there was a change in the controlling party from Mr and Mrs Bradbury to JPS Holdings Limited following appropriation of the issued share capital of Bradbury House Limited.


9.


Controlling party

The companys immediate parent undertaking is Bradbury House Limited, a company incorporated in England & Wales, by virtue of holding 100% of the issued share capital of the company.
In the directors opinion the ultimate parent undertaking and controlling party is JPS Holdings Limited, by virtue of holding 100% of the issued share capital in Bradbury House Limited.
