Basis of preparing the financial statements |
The company was dormant throughout the current year and previous year. |
Investment property |
Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in fair value is recognised in profit or loss. |
Service charges |
The company is responsible for maintaining and managing the property at 69 Huron Road, London, SW17 8RG. The company collects service charges from lessees in order to fund expenditure incurred in the management of the property. These service charge funds are held in trust for the lessees as required by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. |
Transactions relating to the management of the property are reported separately to the lessees. |
Investment property |
The property is held for investment and not for consumption and the directors consider that to depreciate them would not give a true and fair view. Depreciation is only one of the many elements reflected in the annual valuation of properties and accordingly the amount of depreciation which otherwise would have been charged cannot be separately identified or quantified. The directors consider that this policy results in the accounts giving a true and fair view. |
