Company activities and impact

During the period March 2022 - February 2023 eduSOIL CIC:Secured a grant from the Department of Communities to pay for the CEO salary. This allowed the CEO to gain financial stability which enabled relationship building with several key partners (see 2 below) This has enabled the submission of several grant applications to benefit underserved members of the community post March 2023. Conducted a number of consultations were conducted with various stakeholders resulting in:key partnershipssecuring a £9,965 grant to run youth programmes July - August 2023Volunteered up to 100 hours with Beyond Skin to form relationships, support asylum seekers and refugees and youth through mindfulness and arts sessions.

Consultation with stakeholders

During the period March 2022 - February 2023, a number of consultations were conducted such as:Telephonic/email and WhatsApp discussions regarding collaboration with the following artists/ community arts leaders for an Arts Council Northern Ireland Young People and Wellbeing programme:Darren Ferguson, Founder Beyond Skin https://www.beyondskin.net/ Siobhan Brown, founder, Cairde Community Choir https://www.facebook.com/cairdecommunitychoir/ Joe Conere, GEMS NI https://www.gemsni.org.uk/#about Stephanie Arnold, JamNire Frank Raffery, Bluebell Arts Derry https://www.facebook.com/derryartsandculture/ https://www.edusoil.com/artforchange.html Telephonic/email and WhatsApp discussions with Hannah McKimm https://www.facebook.com/hannahmckimmcoaching/ for a partnership funding application to Belfast City Council to run an arts and wellbeing festival for survivors of sexual trauma Discussions with Prof Franziska Schroeder, Performance Without Barriers group regarding partnership with Queen’s University Belfast for funding for programmes, development of digital tools etc.

Directors' remuneration

The director Juanita Rea received a director's salary of £10,510.There were no other transactions for the period.
