For the year ending 31 March 2023 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

Cement Fields is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 06272178. The registered office is Jarman Building, School of the Arts, University of Kent, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7UG.

Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
As a charity, Cement Fields is exempt from tax on income and gains falling with Section 505 pf the Taxes Act 1988 or S256 of the Taxation of Chargeable Gains Act 1992 to the extent that these are applied to its charitable objects. No tax charges have arisen in the Charity.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 ?The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland? (?FRS 102?), ?Accounting and Reporting by Charities? the Statement of Recommended Practice for charities applying FRS 102, the Companies Act 2006 and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Practice as it applies from 1 January 2015.
The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
The accounts have been prepared on the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of their charitable objectives unless the funds have been designated for other purposes. Restricted funds are subject to specific conditions by donors as to how they may be used. The purposes and uses of the restricted funds are set out in the notes to the accounts.
All income is included in the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA) when the charity is legally entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. Subscriptions are included in full upon receipt Grants are included in the year they are receivable or, if specified by the donor, in the year to which they are intended to apply.
All expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and includes VAT as the Charity is not registered for VAT. Expenditure has been classified under headings that aggregate all costs related to the category.
Charitable expenditure comprises those costs incurred by the charity in the delivery of its activities and services for its beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated directly to such activities and those costs of an indirect nature necessary to support them - Governance costs include those costs associated with meeting the constitutional and statutory requirements of the charity and include fees and costs linked to the strategic management of the charity.
No employees received salaries and or employee benefits in excess of £60,000 (excluding employer pension costs and employer's national insurance) during the year.
