Basis of preparation of financial statements
|
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Section 1A of Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006. At the period end date, the company's liabilities exceed its assets, therefore the company is reliant on the continued support provided to it by the directors.
These individuals have confirmed that they will not withdraw the support until the company has sufficient means to repay them. The directors consider that the company is able to meet its obligations as they fall due for the foreseeable future. As a result the accounts have been prepared on a going concern basis..
The financial statements are prepared under the going concern concept. The director has obtained confirmation of the intention, ability and willingness of the company's parent undertaking, to maintain its financial support to enable the company to meet its liabilities as they fall due. Therefore, the director does not consider there to be any material uncertainty regarding going concern.

Short-term creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method.
