SAHARA NEXUS FOUNDATION (SANEF) CIC

Year Ending: 28 February 2023

Company activities and impact

During this reporting period, the CIC could not deliver any health and nutrition services, as its principal activities, to community members or primary beneficiaries due to lack of funds. Instead, we used this period to try to mobilise funds to properly set up the company and deliver services thereafter. Therefore this report only capatures activities undertaken to raise funds. Directors have been volunteering their time and resources without renumeration to start up the CIC.

Consultation with stakeholders

The CIC beneficiaries are mainly community members who are resident in England, particularly Africans, Caribbean and other minority ethnic groups. Other stakeholders are health and nutrition professionals from BAME background. The CIC held several online meetings with the professional groups to seek their support in mobilisation of funds, and development of the CIC strategic/action plans.
