Now in a Minute theatre's operations this year has been focussed on crafting a unique and accessible practice for both actor's and clients. Working collaboratively with our successful auditionees, the company experimented on on creating a detailed and fulfilling multi sensory theatre show for the schools in London and Kent. We debuted our show, Luna Maria, as several schools where we received great feedback from clients and cast alike. This has enabled us as a company to grow our understanding of the needs of the community and find new ways of bringing theatre onto a sensory platform. This them molded of bespoke sensory project, Toot Toot, in which we made for a respite centre called KEF Kids who were holding their summer camp. The cast and company have also undertaken training in sensory storytelling by Joanna Grace, an autistic expert in this field to help solidify our creation process. This was also a part of our Wellbeing training, supplied by NAC wellbeing, on how trauma can affect those with complex sensory needs. This has supported us in making sure our work is sensitive to our clients needs and wants. In this same light we also created a role of Access coordinator, that has been working to develop pre show guides and accessibility content to enable our audiences to receive the best version of our show.
