In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in thefinancial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefitedthe community. Now that the pandemic was more or less in control, we were able to focus fully on the 2022season. We had been approached by many teams for the Thursday league. We decided toaccept only 8 teams this time. Because of the demand for cricket, we also formed a T30Sunday league which consisted of 12 teams. We were very much looking forward to using asimilar format from a well-established Thursday league and superimposing to a Sundayleague. This was a tough season; we had the best weather ever imaginable and every week therewere 10 games taking place across multiple venues. The competition was still equally competitive, and we had to show far more flexibility in ourscheduling because of the additional league. We also went to a separate day for the final, aThursday evening as opposed to a Sunday for two semi-finals and a final. The Sunday leagueproved to be a success and we managed to implement many of the ideas from our currentThursday league. We engaged with nearly 400 players across both leagues over a course of the season. Ourawards ceremony was very well attended (200 people) and the local MP, councillors and theMayor of Bolton all attended. It was very well received.
Our Stakeholders are as follows:Players, Umpires, Ground personnel, Affiliated Leagues, LCF, Support team, Kit Suppliersand Sponsors. We have tirelessly been in contact with all the stakeholders throughout the season in one wayor another. We communicate via social media, e-mail and phone. All the stakeholders have at some point suggested improvements in the way the league runs, and we have responded with that change where it was needed.Upon consultation we ended up changing the following:1. Player eligibility (no overseas players)2. Scoring manually and updated via WhatsApp3. Competition- additional league set-up. Had to communicate across multiple teams4. Semi-final and final played on the same evening-Thursday5. Sunday games had to be played: two games per ground (due to ground availability)
No remuneration was received
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
