COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

THE EDUCATION SUITE C.I.C.

Company Number: 12514156 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 March 2023

Company activities and impact

As we have come out of the covid pandemic, we have collaborated with other organisations and identified groups of young people with low confidence, high anxiety and lacking direction when leaving full time education, and there are young adults who have started employment but have not gained skills or behaviours to excel in the place of work. The Education Suite have supported these particular groups by delivering employability and wellbeing workshops face to face and online based on closing the identified gap above. We have been fortunate to collaborate with other organisations and share resources so we can reach many communities to promote and sustain positive mental wellbeing strategies and increase confidence in the world of work.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are post 16 providers as well as other local charities, we work together to close the identified gaps in the local community and also look at national trends to deliver tailored online workshops. Most of the feedback has been really positive in terms of impact trough shared resources between organisations. The negative feedback received has been from colleagues regarding online workshops, as places are limited and sometimes delegates do not attend all workshops in the programme. This has led us to review and re-think how to deliver programme of workshops, so have decide to deliver as seminars rather than a whole programme.

Directors' remuneration

There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
