Report of the Trustees
The Trustees, who are also directors for the purposes of company law, have pleasure in presenting their report and the financial |
statements for the charitable company for the year ended 31 March 2023. The Trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting |
and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with |
the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019). |
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES |
The objectives of the Church are set out below: To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statement of beliefs appearing in the schedule hereto in the community and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees may from time to time think fit and to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the charity. To relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services, through the provision of counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom or the World as the trustees from time to time may think fit. |
Statement on public benefit |
The trustees have considered the Charity Commision's guidance on public benefit, including the guidance 'public benefit: running a charity (PB2)'. |
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Significant activities
Training and development as well as leadership training are the global vision and designed of activities at Jubilee Christian Church International (JCCI) worldwide. They will continue to take place throughout the year. These include Believers' Basic/Prayer Schools, Leadership History Makers (HMT) training program, Team and Fellowship Leaders training program and church workers and volunteers' program. We also attend other relevant conferences, seminars and exhibitions designed to equip us to carry out the work of the ministry more effectively and to prepare us for even more growth and increase/expansion. Our main service holds on Sunday mornings and the first Friday evening of every month with focus on the teaching of God's word and prayer. The teachings are relevant to all aspects of our lives i.e., the Christian walk, education, career, business, family, relationships, and creativity. The impact of these teachings is evident in the lives of our members. Jubilee Christian Church International continues to witness significant growth in all aspects of its work. We are fulfilling our vision of building and establishing people on the Word of God and empowering them to reach their full potentials in life. The Church has become a great place of refuge and strength to many, both young and old. People are discovering their purpose in life and there is a great momentum to step out and make an impact in their world. Our youth work is progressively going well with more young people attending the weekly meetings and regular training sessions. All our programs and activities are designed to raise strong, vibrant, and responsible young people who will grow up to have a positive impact in all their sphere of influence in the home, the church, the community, the nation and beyond. Giving: In line with the objects of the church, we have continued to support members going through hardships through our welfare programs. We also continue to support other charities who are involved in missions that are complementary to our works. In the summer season, we prepare a barbeque event that is free to attend in a bid to reach out to our immediate neighborhood. We also organise a coffee/tea morning that is free to attend throughout the year for the less privileged in our environment. This year we gladly supported Jubilee International Bible Institute, a globally accredited institute with a grant towards the work and progress they continue to make. FUTURE PLANSOur focus in the immediate future is to procure a nine-seat minibus to convey members to all church activities and programs, and to purchase a property, a permanent place for church activities which is in the best interest of the church. We also want to launch out into the community and beyond through dynamic evangelism and community focused programs. We believe the church has a lot to offer individuals, families, and the whole community and we have it in plan to reach out to them more effectively. We are also developing our media capacity for global reach and Endtime harvest as well as discipleship of nations for the Lord. |
In the twelve months under review, net results for the year were £31,789; (2022: £210,305) and carries forward funds of £278,271; (2022: £246,482). |

Report of the Trustees Continued
Significant events
As part of our plans to purchase a property as a permanent place of worship, the charity received donations of £210,000 in the year to 31st March 2022, restricted for the purpose. A big thank you to JCCI Zion Chapel, Chapel of Grace, Faith Arena and everyone who gave generously towards this cause. |
The Trustees believes that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be maintained so that in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able to continue the Charity's activities and are working towards achieving it. The aim is to build reserves levels to approximately 3 months of unrestricted expenditure. |
Going concern
At the time of approving the accounts, the Trustees have a reasonable expectation that the Charity has adequate resources to |
continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus, the Trustees' continue to adopt the going concern basis of |
accounting in preparing the accounts. |

memorandum and articles of association incorporated on 22 March 2010. |

Independent Examiners Report to the Trustees
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charitable company for the year ended 31 March 2023. |
Responsibilities and basis of report |
The charity Trustees, who are also directors for the purposes of company law, are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 ('the 2006 Act'). Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the Company are not required to be audited under Part 16 of the 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my examination of your charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 ('the 2011 Act'). In carrying out my examination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act. |
Independent examiners statement |
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me |
cause to believe that in any material respect: |
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Company as required by section 386 of the 2006 Act; or |
2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or |
3. the accounts do not comply with the requirements of section 396 of the 2006 Act other than any requirement that the accounts give |
a 'true and fair view' which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination; or |
4. the accounts have not been prepared in accordance with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice |
for accounting and reporting by charities applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting |
Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102). |
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in |
this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. |
