Company activities and impact

RCP has been providing emotional and mental health support to those in need for free or at reduced fees. Mental health services for adults and for children and families are overwhelmed with referrals and have long waiting lists due to increased demand. Therefore, the support provided has helped vulnerable adults, children and families to receive some treatment for their distress, anxiety and loss. More specifically:o Individual and Family Therapy sessions at more affordable community fees (£ 40 = -50% of regular fees) for individuals (20 sessions) and families (8 hours);o Free EcoTherapy group for the local community, an 8-week programme using the local greenspaces. It has benefited a diverse group of adults (5) with different level of vulnerability, and needs including high anxiety, mental health difficulties, health related issues, family stress, work stress, physical disability, and social isolation. The feedback from the activities provided has been positive (see below).o Free Family Ecotherapy Walk as part of Brighton Walking Festival in June 2023 to promote walking across the city for different groups.o 6 Free Multicultural ecotherapy walks in the local greenspaces.o 3 free seasonal ecotherapy sessions for the local community in Spring, Summer and Autumn.
