Company activities and impact

Arts Rising Collective, the CIC, run various events, workshops and creative art fairs for the local community with emphasis on community engagement and outreach, giving local artists such as visual artists, writers, potters, photographers and textile artists opportunities to make connections, display and sell their work.- Every month we host a free Creative Drinks event, where everyone is welcome, at a local venue for creatives to network and make new connections.- In the past year (2023) we have held 2 art fairs, 1 photography workshop, and one Meet the Author event. - We hold all our events in central Stratford upon Avon so that it's accessible for all people, including those who do not drive or have access issues.- Our free membership has been increasing steadily and we now have approx. 150 registered members through our website. - When we hold an art fair, we charge participants the minimum amount enabling us to cover the cost of hiring the venue space. - If any monies are left over, they are spent on advertising, refreshments on the day and stationery. We hold a small reserve - always less than £100 - for account submissions etc.
