Our primary objectives have been supporting local people with our Community CV service.This has helped over 30 people in Nechells and Aston to create and develop CV’s, coverletters and make stronger job applications. In addition to this we have also been supportingpeople to start their own businesses and social enterprises by providing free and heavilysubsidized online training sessions.For local social enterprises and community organisations, we continued to deliver freeconsultations so that they would become more impactful and sustainable in the longer term.We have delivered over 40 free consultations to community-based organisations in the last 12months and continue to actively mentor young social entrepreneurs pro bono.We have raised funds through the online platform Space Hive to deliver employability supportwith our partners myfirstcv.com. We have also gained funding from Sport Birmingham todeliver sports activities to young people in our local area and also support their parents withemployability. Our sports based projects have engaged with over 50 young people andparents.We have also been extremely active in creating free content to support people with theiremployability. We have also created content and signposted funding opportunities forcommunity organisations. In addition to this we have been supporting organisations navigatethrough the cost of living crisis by providing information, advice and guidance for free.As we continue to grow, we are looking to capacity build and bring in additional supportthrough volunteer development so that we can reach more people in our community andmake our services more accessible.
