In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. We launched a training and internship scheme with support from The Walcot Foundation and a number of corporate organisations. We delivered two weeks of training about careers in policy and public affairs, and sessions designed to help them with their CV and cover letter. 17 young people from low-income households took part and 8 of them were offered internships by our corporate partners and 5 of them are now in permanent employment in the sector. We also ran our mentoring scheme for the second year. This year 84 young people received 9 months of 1:1 mentoring from 84 public affairs professionals. To date 6 of the mentees have secured employment in the sector. We have delivered sessions on social action for all three waves of the National Citizens Service UK Year of Service. The sessions have supported 120 young people with skills to thrive in their placements and beyond. We collaborated with a number of organisations to deliver the first Young Green Britain Challenge on behalf of the Green Britain Foundation.
