BMT Film & Media CICReport of the Directorsfor the Year Ended 31 March 2023The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the year ended31 March 2023.PRINCIPAL ACTIVITYBMT undertook several low cost publicity work or community cohesion events (Remembering SrebrenicaMemorial Day) and publicity for musicians in Leeds. In addition working on a long term feature documentaryfilms such as 'Dig! The Leeds Jazz Underground' and a documentary on growing up in Bradford (withsecretary in London). which will necessitate fundraising and crew next year. The Company director took timeout of fundraising to work in education in order to crate contacts as well as invest in the company for the nextyear when it will be the focus of full time attention.DIRECTORGarry Clarkson held office during the whole of the period from 1 April 2022 to the date of this report.Other changes in directors holding office are as follows:Tony Pryce was appointed as a director after 31 March 2023 but prior to the date of this report.This report has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006relating to small companies.

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts,rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Company activities and impact

BMT undertook several low cost publicity work or community cohesion events such as Remembering Srebrenica Memorial Day and publicity for musicians in Leeds. In addition, working on long term feature documentary films such as The Leeds Jazz Underground and a documentary on growing up in Bradford with secretary in London. These will necessitate fundraising and crew next year. The Company director took time out of fundraising to work in education to ameliorate effects of Covid 19 when we were compelled to cancel all our initial contracts without renumeration. In order to create contacts as well as invest in the company for the next year when it will be the focus of full time attention.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation and meeting with stakeholders in Leeds City Centre (Feb 21 2023 for annual meeting). For coordination of film as above. Companies Stakeholders are listed on web site as ‘community consultants’ https://www.bmtfilm.com/aboutFeedback to appoint new directors as well as diversify into training and archive work. Implemented in the new tax year working in collaboration with MAK Digital in Bradford.
