Accounting policies |
|
|
Basis of preparation |
|
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard). |

Turnover |
|
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable. Turnover represents the value of maintenance levies receivable from the lessees together with administation fees etc. receivable and insurance receipts. |
|

Tangible fixed assets |
|
Tangible fixed assets, being freehold land and buildings only, are stated at historical cost. No depreciation is provided on freehold buildings since the book value is substantially less than its' present value. The freehold building is reviewed annually for any potential impairment, and its' value is maintained by a full programme of repair and renovation. |

|
Short term debtors are measured at transaction price (which is usually the invoice price). |

|
Short term creditors are measured at transaction price (which is usually the invoice price). |

Taxation |
|
The company has been advised by HM Revenue and Customs that provided its circumstances remain unchanged and its potential Corporation Tax liability for any year is not expected to exceed £100, it will not be required to pay Corporation Tax on its interest receivable. |
