The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 March 2023

Principal activities of the company

Lakeside Darkroom, as an educational company and creative space, has maintained fundamental photography workshops while adding more advanced workshops for photography practitioners. Trying to reach out to a wide range of creative audiences, from those who are new to analogue photography and are eager to learn more. In addition, there are more professional people that require a professional space-facility that is affordable. We have also offered no-cost workshops for locals, as well as an open studios event together with the other studios at the LAKESIDE CENTRE in Thamesmead. We open our doors to the public all day long to show what we do and the services we provide. Other creative spaces have contacted the company to offer students photographic services that they do not already provide. Consultation with stakeholders

LKSD provides many workshops, and we communicate with everyone who attends the workshops or makes use of the facility and its equipment. We ask about where and how they found us. If they enjoyed and gained knowledge from the workshop, if they like the facility by if they work productively, and so on.As an educational place, our top concern is that they have a good time and learn something new and interesting. We ask this in an informal manner. However, we have been asking for testimonials through Trustpilot for a few days now in order to provide a more accurate evaluation. This is the webpage where all of the information is available. https://www.lakesidedarkroom.com/testimonials
