Investment property |
Freehold investment properties are held for their investment potential and the directors consider the adoption of this policy is necessary in order to give a true and fair view. In accordance with paragraph 6.53 of the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008), depreciation is provided only in respect of a permanent fall in value. Any temporary movements in valuation are taken to an investment property revaluation reserve. |
