Company Number: 14424598 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 October 2023

Company activities and impact

In this first year of trading we have focussed on being financially self sufficient to enable our community focussed activities. We have however achieved progress in two key areas, these are listed below:1. Worked with the local community in Fordingbridge to set up ‘Fordingbridge Avon Bathers’, a group fighting to achieve bathing water status for the river avon to help drive water quality improvements. This included a detailed consultation with the local community and will help encourage safe use of the river for all2. Established a citizen science water quality monitoring program on the river Avon. Working with landowners and members of the public we currently have 13 volunteer samplers working across the project area. Data is shared with the catchment partnership and environment agency to help drive engagement and water quality improvements.
