Company activities and impact

Nature Youth Connection and Education CIC (NYCE):-Delivered a trip to Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire for 20 teenagers from economically deprived backgrounds and racially minoritised identities in this year. -Continued to work with Bristol TreeCraft to deliver high quality green woodwork workshops for over 200 young people in deprived areas of Bristol.-Provided free holidays through the FairBnB scheme to 10 families. These trips were to the Brecon Beacons.-Worked directly in partnership with Eastside Community Trust, St Werburghs City Farm, the National Trust, Avon Wildlife Trust and others to deliver free of charge outdoor activities to young people from deprived areas of Bristol.

Consultation with stakeholders

NYCE CIC has continued to seek feedback from its primary stakeholders the young people through one to one interviews, both formal and informal. The feedback provided is used to co-create the upcoming activities and increase safeguarding and wellbeing. This has led to improved trips as well as engagment with this community.NYCE CIC has also engaged with local site partners such as Felix Road Adventure Playground to assess the needs of their cohorts of young people. This has led to the development of the woodwork program.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £6780.There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
