By helping to keep the shop unit vacancy numbers down we will also be benefiting from our town centre, as it has become a more desirable visitor’s destination. Our pop-up shop is currently being hired for Audiology services called Pinnaclear. One of our pop-up shop residents found that their children’s clothing business was a success at cheeky cherubs so then expanded into a vacant shop premises down the road to cheeky cherubs. We also have space in our foyer for businesses to sell their merchandise. The community room is used by small businesses to hold classes/meetings etc. e.g. we host a French lesson class for home schooled children. We have a leaflet rack which local businesses can use to promote their businesses, activities, fundraising events etc. We are a drop off point for Trafford Recycles Christmas hamper campaign, where people donate gifts, everyday essentials to go in a pamper which is prepared on the premises and then distributed to the elderly in the community. We also take our characters out to local fundraising events and give free entry vouchers and parties for raffles.
