Company activities and impact

We carried out a survey concerning what people in luton are most concerned about in the present and year ahead, the over arching themes were cost of living crisis and how to save on Bills and Cash in hand side income ideas. We produced leaflets on the following: Keeping Warm in the Winter months. Energy Saving Ideas Food banks in the Community, who commonly supply cultural foods .Council food voucher informationVolunteers distributed Leaflets around the: Luton Town centre, Dallow, Northwell, Sundon, Lewsey Farm And Hockwell Ring area as well as at local churches, community areas including libraries.

Consultation with stakeholders

A Survey was conducted in the luton centre asking the public in Luton Town what they were most concerned about presently and towards the future. 44 people responded and gave their views. It ranged from respondents who were 18 to over 50. The overriding main concerns was the cost of living crisis inparticular fuel crisis. The public in luton wanted infromation how they can save on fuel ideas and keeping warm, this is similar to last years survey results. However a new theme came through which was how to get cash in hand. We produced leaflets and ideas on Fuel crisis and how to Stay warm ideas and are working on a list of cash in hand ideas.
