In addition to this, MSCC consults with families and carers on a one-to-one basis ensuring that service provision are appropriate and it designed to meet the needs of individual and their preferences and wishes.MSCC’s activities and impactManav Seva Community Centre CIC is providing services to the 136 local residents on weekly basis who have physically or mental disability, vulnerable and elderly. Provided wheelchair adapted transport to the local residents for the access of Community Day care centre, within the areas of Leicester & Leicestershire. Provided activities to the local residents including light exercise, yoga, group walk to support people who are suffering from Diabetes and other illnesses. Arts and Crafts, group singing with bodily movement, Community event included Queen Platinum Jubilee event, invited approx. 172 the local residents included volunteers, provided refreshments, Music event, celebrated with the members of the local Communities.Since to COVID-19, MSCC CIC has been provided 251 sessions to approximately 78 adults on weekly basis through (Zoom online sessions) to support people who unable to attend face to face sessions at the centre due to health circumstances OR impacted due to COVID- 19Also provided low cost meal through the Meals on Wheels service to 250 people on weekly basis the people, who are elders, vulnerable adults, suffering from any disabilities OR isolated due to COVID – 19.Supported people through the lunch club and day care activities sessions to 68 weekly members of the local communities including Leicester & Leicestershire.The company has employed full/part time 8 local residents and getting support from 5 volunteers for the benefit of the local residents who are supporting all the essential services to the members of our local communities. To keep our Day Care Centre environmentally friendly and clean, we have advised staff and centre users to maintain our environment by using required energy by reducing waste energy, recycling glass, plastic, cardboard, cloths etc.
Feed backs about the servicesThe company have received good feedback from the members of our local communities and the centre users about provided activities, events to support Health & wellbeing. Over all, the outcome of all of our services is positive and most of the day care centre users and members are appreciative for all the delivered services to meet the needs & preferences. MSCC has interactive pages via the internet, social media platforms, etc.
