We have run ukulele classes, either free or at a nominal fee, in partnership with: Age UK Richmond - weekly ukuleles sessions, beginner courses and community performancesAge UK Waltham Forest - weekly ukuleles sessions and beginner courses. Otakar Kraus Music Trust - 2 weekly online sessions for children and young people with learning difficulties ie Autism. In addition we ran 6 sessions for Together as One working with adults with poor mental health linked to isolation and loneliness. 24 teachers attended our online workshop. 120 children had a go session at Ealing Music Festival. Over 50 songsheets were added to our teachers resource. We mentored and supported projects in Scotland, Wales, South East, East Midlands and the North West. Together we donated 116 ukuleles to libraries, schools and community groups. As well as 50 ukuleles to survivor children and their families of the Turkey/Syria Earthquakes. We organised a tour of all the Ukulele Projects with a ukulele artist - 4 String Boy. Over 200 people attended. We donated ukuleles to 5 libraries and hosted 1 mass busks raising money for The Basement Door, a charity that supports young adults in offering them performance opportunities and training.
Company stakeholders are the Project leaders, our patrons and clients. The project leaders have regular meetings via Zoom where minutes are taken. Our patrons are updated on our impact via our newsletter and social media. We carry out impact surveys after events and workshops and apply feedback.
