    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company plus grants received, net of Value Added Tax (where VAT registered) and trade discounts.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible fixed assets, other than freehold land, are stated at cost or valuation less depreciation and any provision for impairment. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost or valuation of fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following basis: Computer Equipment 25% reducing balance method

Company activities and impact

PoWW CIC has hosted 3 events over the financial year, which have all been free/donation based. The events focused on wellbeing talks and workshops to inform and educate the wider community about different activities available to help them improve their mental (and physical) health. Some activities like yoga and sound baths tend to expensive and only available for those who can afford luxuries, but they are very beneficial. Wellbeing shouldn’t just be for those with deep pockets. Having taken feedback from the last event we hosted, the following were achieved (21 / 40 replied):92% reported improved mental health or mood after the event84% learned something new88% felt motivated to continue with an element of the activities they took part in60% made a new connection92% provided positive feedback/comments about the overall event

Consultation with stakeholders

No consultation beyond feedback forms from attendees. Any negative feedback received has been taken on board for future events.

Directors' remuneration

£100 for costs of work done by directors.

Transfer of assets

A donation was made to Samaritans for £115 (07/07/2022)
