Company activities and impact

Chanse 4 youth is a creative arts project that facilitates workshops for disadvantaged local youth. The business began trading in January 2023 with a residential children's home.During the financial year the company has managed to help support some children from the community with arts-based interventions that have helped young people.The project has benefitted a small selection of disadvantaged young people gain access to music technology facilities and develop skills around music creation and video production.The project impacted upon nine young individuals from the Shifnal area who engaged in a six-week project lasting two hours per session that encapsulated lyric writing sessions, video analysis, filming skills, and music production.This resulted in the participants producing their own music track and video.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company’s stakeholders were the participants of the arts project together with the project lead. The project lead was responsible for collating feedback forms from the participants to ensure future quality control, and further course development is implemented.
