Edible landscapes London is a community forest garden based inside Finsbury Park. We run twice weekly sessions teaching the community how to grow food, propagate plants which we give away to other community projects, compost, and care for a garden according to permaculture principles which is a way of gardening which is carbon capturing and storing, increases biodiversity and uses no chemicals. We run free family nature craft and gardening days in School holidays and host schools for site visits. We do nature monitoring of our wild area at the back of the site.
We have feedback forms for visitors and locals. We engage the community in our free family events. We work with Haringey council and other park stakeholders. We adapt to what our users say they want and need. We are currently applying for grants to make our garden more wheelchair accessible.
No directors received any remuneration for their services as directors during the year.9 directors did receive some remuneration for project work, the amount paid in total was £11,078 during the year.
