Company activities and impact

Guildhall Project - August 2022:The community arts project held as part of the Four Fun Fridays initiative on Andover High Street provided an opportunity for local families and children to actively participate in creating a lasting piece of art.Over 200 fingerprints were added to the line drawing of the Guildhall, fostering a sense of ownership and connection to this historic landmark.By engaging residents in the artistic process, the project helped strengthen the community's bond with the Guildhall, a significant part of Andover's history.Youth in Test Valley Awards - September to December 2022:The competition aimed at 14-18-year-olds encouraged entrepreneurship and leadership among young people in Test Valley. With financial support from various local councils and businesses, including mentorship opportunities, the competition empowered young individuals to explore their entrepreneurial skills and turn their innovative ideas into viable businesses.The success story of one participant who established Andover's first cat cafe with the support received showcases the tangible impact of the initiative in nurturing young talent and fostering economic development within the community.Andover Winter Wonderland Day - December 2022:The event brought together a large number of residents, businesses, and organisations, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere in Andover's High Street. With over 4,000 attendees and a wide array of stalls and activities, the Winter Wonderland Day not only provided entertainment but also supported local businesses and showcased the diversity of offerings within the community.By attracting a significant crowd, the event boosted local economic activity and reinforced community spirit during the holiday season.Overall, these activities organised under Bringing Together Andover CIC and supported by various stakeholders have contributed to fostering community engagement, nurturing young talent, promoting local businesses, and enhancing the overall quality of life in Andover.

Guildhall Project - August 2022:Local Businesses: The Guildhall itself and other local art suppliers or retailers were consulted for input or support in organising the art materials or promoting the event.Local Councils: Test Valley Borough Council and Andover Vision played a significant role in coordinating the Four Fun Fridays initiative and providing funding for the project.Local Residents: Through community engagement efforts, local residents were consulted during the planning phase to gather ideas, preferences, and feedback on the proposed community arts project.
