Notes to the financial statements
1. Employee numbers
The average number of persons employed by the company during the year amounted to 9 (2022: 9 ).
2. Directors' advances, credits and guarantees
At the beginning of the year, total loans amounting to £15,532 were owing to the company by the director T J Glover which were repaid in full on 20 March 2023. Additional advances totalling £20,753 were made to the director during the year which were still outstanding at the period end. The maximum outstanding at any time was £23,976, Interest was charged on the average outstanding balance. At the beginning of the year, total loans amounting to £16,021 were owing to the company by the director J R Reid which were repaid in full on 20 March 2023. Additional advances totalling £21,067 were made to the director during the year which were still outstanding at the period end. The maximum outstanding at any time was £24,405, Interest was charged on the average outstanding balance. At the beginning of the year, total loans amounting to £16,260 were owing to the company by the director D J Wright which were repaid in full on 20 March 2023. Additional advances totalling £18,871 were made to the director during the year which were still outstanding at the period end. The maximum outstanding at any time was £22,675, Interest was charged on the average outstanding balance.
3. Other financial commitments
The total future minimum lease payments under non-cancellable operating leases are as follows: Not later than 1 year £17,787 (2022: £11,819) Later than 1 year and not later than 5 years £20,522 (2022: £4,991)
For the year ending 31 October 2023 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
Directors' responsibilities:
- The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476 ;
- The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements .
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
