NESTT CIC is a Community Interest Company that both provides therapeutic services to chil-dren, young people and their families.NESTT CIC was incorporated on 11/04/2019 with a particular emphasis on providing quality Child and Adolescent training and services at a local and national level over the last year our focus and growth has been on developing accessible therapy provision for children rather than training. During the financial year 2021 to 2022, NESTT has benefitted the community in the following ways:Increased therapy services to local children, young people and their families including ac-cessible, low-cost places to mean that families who are unable to access therapy via other provision are able to access support.Sliding scale provision in place with specific low-cost service providedAccess to placements for trainee psychotherapists to meet their development needs and also provide more accessible provision locally.Enhanced assessments for families experiencing trauma and disruption.Formal and informal no cost consultation opportunities provided to practitioners working in the local community who are unable to access consultation service via other mechanisms.Advice and support to local educational provisions to cater for the social, emotional, and be-havioural needs of children and young people.Increased therapeutic provision focused on strengthening attachment in families.Support of local community groups via consultation, access to consultation.Development of sensory aids loaning for families.
The local stakeholders are trainees, users of NESTT CIC therapy services, schools, family, a local family farm, a local forest school.Other providers who are looking to develop their therapeutic intention and provision have been consulted on the how appropriate for their context and how clearly, we have understood their need.Families who use our services have been consulted on the efficacy and ease of access to the NESTT model of contextual working.NESTT has been responsive to emergent needs of what stakeholders have informed us, for example emotionally based school refusal, lack of access to services in key areas e.g. FASD.
All monies paid to directors have been listed in our accounts under the headings of client work, planning and development, trainer costs.There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
