Happy Smiles Training is an award winning disabled peoples-led social enterprise made up of over 90% of disabled people in 2023. During the year we have received great recognition for our work from the Prime Minister and HM The King no less. With a lot of hard work going into our overall aim of creating inclusive communities. led by people with lived experience of disability.Key Achievements :73 training sessions delivered, supporting 4123 beneficiaries across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.43 'Fempowered Together' disabled women-led community group sessions supporting 23 beneficiaries in Wigan Borough.49 'Realise Your Potential' upskilling & mental wellbeing support sessions for 18 local disabled people in Wigan Borough.22 community events supported/held across Wigan Borough supporting 307 beneficiaries in Wigan Borough.5 partnership projects including with The National Lottery, Children in Need, Edge Hill University & Everything Human Rights.2 commissioned pieces of work, aiming to support the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion conversation aross Wigan Borough.2 national news features of our work including ITV and the BBC.1 inaugural patron announced - Isaac Harvey MBETotal beneficiaries supported : 4471
