1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Axis Architecture Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

The company has net current liabilities. However the directors have invested in marketing, currently commissioning a lead generator company which is producing excellent results, with new projects now coming through with full commission. Payment plans with creditors (HMRC and Rent) have been put in place to spread monthly costs. Directors are carefully monitoring cash flow, costs and level of enquiries. The directors are confident that due to these actions the company is now in a position to improve profitability and continue to grow. Therefore, the financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis.

Turnover
Turnover represents the amount derived from the provision of services falling within the company's ordinary activities, after deduction of trade discounts and Value Added Tax. Revenue is recognised at the point when the company satisfies a performance obligation to a customer as agreed.

Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.
Plant and machinery etc - 33% on cost and 25% on reducing balance

The Companies Act 2006 requires land and buildings to be depreciated over their expected useful economic lives. However, the directors' consider that to depreciate property improvements would not give a true and fair view. It is company policy to maintain properties in a good state of repair and these costs are charged to the profit and loss account in the year during which they are incurred. Improvements to properties are capitalised to the extent that value is added.

Hire purchase and leasing commitments
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease.

Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate.

The average number of employees during the year was 6 (2022 - 6 ) .
