As an organisation, we remain steadfast in offering opportunities to state educated rugby players to combat the lack of participation and involvement that state educated children experience. We have been able to offer a free half term camp to 40 state educated rugby players that provided quality coaching, an educational workshop and complete nutritional support that ensured the children did not experience ‘unhealthy holidays’. This camp occurred in the Forest of Dean at Drybrook RFC on 20th February 2023, lasting three days. Our camp included professional rugby coaches and players that inspired young, state educated children to pursue any goal they hope to achieve. Our nutritional support included three meals a day, completely free of charge to remove the barrier of cost. As well as this we have been diligent in running pop events at rugby tournaments and being present in state schools. The company ran a pop up event at Hartpury University to offer coaching support and guidance to the state schools attending. This coincided a week later with an event at Wallace High School in Stirling, Scotland. A morning of coaching to secondary pupils between S1-S4, Canterbury NZ were involved as a key sponsor and provided free kit to over 60 children.
Coaches and state educated children are stakeholders. Of our coaches that worked at all three events, all were provided with a DBS Qualification under Advice Academy Community Interest Company. Meetings occurred to discuss how best to coach and manage these state educated rugby players. Plans, schedules and sessions were delivered accordingly. For the young players, Advice Academy Community Interest Company was able to impact over 200 young players in the first year. The 40 kids on the camps received state of the art pitch and gym access, quality coaching and nutritional provision. The 60 state school kids at Wallace High School received free kit and quality coaching, while at Hartpury University parents and players were able to access coaching support and guidance regarding progressing in rugby. Discussions were held regarding some of the problems state educated children experience in rugby and sport as a whole.
The aggregate amount for Directors Remuneration has been disclosed in the Detailed Income Statement in the Accounts. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
