    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover represents cash sales plus the value of goods and services invoiced to customers during the year, excluding Value Added Tax.

    Other accounting policies

    TaxationAll profits made in the year are payable to the University of St Andrews, the company’s parent charity, in line with the deed of covenant approved between the two entities on 23 July 2020. This impacts the taxable profits for the year. More information is available at note 4.
