Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 30 April 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Company activities and impact

The company was set up to run a local shop and pub on the sile of the old RAF west Raynjam which is currently home to around 350 residents who both own or rem their homes. The site is in a very rural location with few facilities and the hub has become the centre of community life. The Hub's activities have bencfitted the community in the following ways: I. A group of volunters have benefitted from the experience of running the Pub.2. The pub has provided a meeting point for the whole community and has helped with making a fledging community stronger.3. The pub has also helped with come anity cohesion. The community has entered a darts team into the local leaguc which also brings others into the site and improves the income of the pub.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company stakeholders are the resident and visitors to the site along with local producers in the surrounding area. The community is relatively small and has been consulted regularly since Hub's inception via newsletter, requests for help from volunteers and questionnaires asking what residents would like to see from the shop, cafe and pub. There is a signup list for the volunteers in the pub which any resident can sign up for along with a list of suggestions on what to stock in the pub, along with any other suggestions that stakeholders may have. The pub has a large notice board which residents can use to gain information on what is happening or advertise items or services.
