We have successfully conducted heritage workshops and organised a diverse range of events that are open to the entire community. These events encompass cultural experiences such as Djembe drumming, open mic sessions, spoken word performances, podcasting sessions, film screenings, markets, and arts and crafts activities.The impact of these events extends across multiple generations within the community. By providing a platform for cultural expression and creative engagement, our activities have become a source of enrichment and connection for individuals of all ages. The inclusive nature of our events ensures that the community at large can participate, fostering a sense of unity and shared experience.One notable aspect of these events is their inclusive nature, catering to participants of all ages across multiple generations within the community. The overarching goal is to publicise and raise funds for an international study visit.The impact of these initiatives goes beyond the immediate enjoyment of cultural and artistic activities. By fostering a multi-generational environment, our events not only contribute to community cohesion but also serve as a platform for promoting and supporting the upcoming international study visit. The community's engagement and support in these events are crucial in achieving our objectives achieving the study visit.
Stakeholders are TCR, Temne Kru Africa and Queen Nyahbinghi Adventure tours.
