COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

SHE INSPIRES FOUNDATION C.I.C.

Company Number: 12098877 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2023

Company activities and impact

Supported by a small grant from the National Lottery Community Fund (£10,000) the C.I.C.continued to support efforts to stop abuse against women and girls, through web posts and social media. In addition, we continued to support the United Nation’s Secretary General’s campaign to ‘Orange The World’ to stop violence against women and girls by 2030. It is the Foundation’s policy to extend the UN’s 16 days of activism each year to 365 days, and we awarded a number of Orange Champion awards in order to build up a volunteer force to sustain our efforts over the coming years.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders this year included the University of Bolton, Bolton College, Bolton School, Kildonan House, She Inspires Limited and Willowrange. We have consulted with these stakeholders throughout the year to assess the ongoing role for our C.I.C. which was likely to both receive traction and fill a gap in the sector.

Total Directors’ Remuneration for year was £4,000 (£1,809.80 net to G.Brennan, £1,600 net to R.Hanks and £590.20 tax paid to HMRC).
