The Company has been active this year. The co-director has attended AAC software trainings to learn about the features, commands and abilities of Liberator, TobiiDynavox and Smartbox’s software to find what ‘magical’ feats each platform can perform. Based on these trainings the co-director has been building up our selection of accessible magic tricks for our AAC Magic Camp. The co-director has also been increasing the awareness of the AAC CAMPS UK by attending the Communication Matters Conference and liaising with stakeholders in the AAC Community. There have been no camps this year due to low staffing.
The company’s stakeholders are member of the AAC Community in the UK. AAC Camp UK has a dedicated website on which members can contact us and where we publish upcoming events. AAC Camp UK also has Facebook page that serves this purpose.
