Basis of preparing the financial statements |
Turnover |
Turnover represents net invoiced rental income from property leases, all of which are classified as operating leases. Revenue from operating leases is recognised in profit or loss on a straight-line basis over the lease term. |

Investment properties for which value can be measured reliably without undue cost or effort on an ongoing basis are measured at fair value annually with any change recognised in the profit and loss account. |
Debtors |
Short term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. Loans receivable are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment. |
Creditors |
Short term trade creditors are measured at the transaction price. Other financial liabilities, including bank loans, are measured initially at fair value, net of transaction costs, and are measured subsequently at amortised cost using the effective interest method. |
