The company runs the Coventry Community Hungarian School in Coventry, a weekend school and community with the aim to provide education and cultural support for children and families' who has Hungarian relations. The company was formed in July 2015 and started its first academic year in September 2015. As a community interest company we also run cultural events in order to support the local Hungarian community, the activities we run benefited the community the following ways:-Children benefit from having a cultural identity and gain confident speaking in Hungarian, friendships are formed which ensures emotional and social well being for our children-Parents believe that supplementary schools value parental involvement and help their children succeed academically and socially. -Families reported that use of Hungarian language at home has improved-Encourages children to be more open minded and engage in activities that otherwise not offered in mainstream schools-More than 50 families could benefit in the area from the regular school activities and community activitiesThe company's stakeholders are the local Hungarian community, local Hungarian businesses such as cake makers, Hungarian food groceries and musicians. The directors of the company has been living in the area for years and being part of the community so understood the needs of the local families and designed the activities around these needs. We have used an online questionnaire prior to starting up in order to understand the requirements and needs. Also every six months we get the parents to fill out a feedback form in order to be able to improve our work and have feedback on our strengths and weaknesses. We also work closely with local Hungarian related businesses, as well as other Hungarian schools and communities nationwide. On our events and school canteen we purchase Hungarian food from local businesses as well as running charity events with other similar organisations.
Stakeholders include the Directors, Volunteers and beneficiaries primarily those living in the Hungarian Community of Coventry and Warwickshire
