The director acknowledges his responsibilities for:

(b)preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its profit or loss for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Robert Darvall (Property) Limited is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales. The address of its registered office is Victoria House, 26 Queen Victoria Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1TG

The principal activity of the company in the year under review was that of property investment and management.

The financial statements are presented in Pound Sterling (£), which is also the functional currency of the company.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.

Going Concern
The director is not aware of any material uncertainties that may cast significant doubt over the ability of the company to continue trading. The preparation of the financial statements on the going concern basis is therefore deemed appropriate.

Turnover
Income (described as turnover) represents property rents, excluding value added tax. Income is recognised in the period the property rents become receivable.

Investment property
Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in fair value is recognised in profit or loss.

Taxation
Tax on profit represents the sum of the tax currently payable and deferred tax.

Current tax is the amount of income tax payable in respect of the taxable profit for the year or prior
years. Tax is calculated on the basis of tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively
enacted by the period end.

Deferred tax arises from timing differences that are differences between taxable profits and total
comprehensive income as stated in the financial statements. These timing differences arise from the
inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are
recognised in financial statements.

Deferred tax is recognised on all timing differences at the reporting date. Unrelieved tax losses and
other deferred tax assets are only recognised when it is probable that they will be recovered against
the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.

Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by
the period end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.

3. EMPLOYEES AND DIRECTORS

The average number of employees during the year was NIL (2022 - NIL).
