Positive Pathways has delivered weekly detached youth work sessions in Anfield and City Centre this year working with over 2500 young people. We have also delivered detached sessions in Woolton Village. We were able to deliver a new and exciting sports project for young women in the Everton Area working in partnership with a local secondary school. We have continued to deliver holiday activities with Children and young people across Liverpool. At Christmas we offered a free Christmas Grotto, where over 50 families were supplied with ‘Christmas’ we were able to give people a food hamper, Christmas tree and decorations, Christmas presents, and Christmas Eve box.We have continued to deliver training to youth workers, and those working with children and young people across the Northwest of England. We have also delivered a new slow cooker course for parents in Merseyside this has been delivered to 5 different groups benefitting at least 30 families. We have been lucky enough to be funded through various sources; Merseyside Police, Onward Housing, Torus Housing, Street Games, National Lottery Million Hour Fund, Liverpool City Council, Plus Dane Housing, Merseyside Play Action Council and Big Help project.
This year we have set up a stakeholders group for our detached youth work programme in Liverpool City centre, through consultation the days, times and frequency of our sessions were decided and we have changed our programme in accordance with this. We have also consulted with some of our funders with regards to what is needed for residents in their areas from this we created the slow cooker course and have delivered this according to need.
The directors received £107,500 of remuneration from the CIC during the year.
