The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 July 2023

Principal activities of the company

We have continued to deliver affordable Performing arts classes to children and young people who would otherwise be unable to access them. Bridging the gap between 'class' and cultural capital.We increased our delivery of classes to cover age groups from 3 years through to 18.We continue to sponsor Busy Bees stay and play which enables parents in our community a safe and warm place to build communityWe have begun a partnership with Cardiff Passport to the city.We were awarded funding of £25000 by Together for Trowbridge and St Mellons. To support us from September 2022 - July 2024We were awarded funding by Together for Trowbridge and St Mellons of £5114.98 to deliver a Free 5 day summer camp to 6-12 year olds and a 3 days of masterclass workshops for 15year +. August 2022.Our Numbers of students has more than double in the last year. We have trained a local man who was born in St Mellons and got an MA in Acting to teach in our classes and he is now delivering solo.The end of year performance of Pinocchio was a huge success, without charging the earth for tickets and expecting children to pay a fee to participate we were able to deliver a high standard and quality performance to the audience. and the the students felt very proud of themselves. an incredibly successful year

Company activities and impact

We have continued to deliver affordable Performing arts classes to children and young people who would otherwise be unable to access them. Bridging the gap between 'class' and cultural capital.the studetns co-created a performance of Pinocchio and delivered it to an audience of their peers and carers.We continue to sponsor Busy Bees stay and play which enables parents in our community a safe and warm place to build community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Feedback is received via our parents, carers and students themselves at the end of each term.We regularly discuss with them what they are getting from us, what they would like to do next and how we can best support the community.

Directors' remuneration

Stephanie Rees receives £150 per month as PAYE for her contact time in teaching students and administration time for running the business itself
