  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Depreciation is provided at the following annual rates in order to write off each asset over its estimated useful life.Plant and Machinery 4 Straight Line

    Other accounting policies

    Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.

Help Good Grow (Rugby) is a not-for-profit social enterprise that identifies local community needs, potential projects and activities. It links those activities, creates local connections, provides support and solutions to enable people and groups to work collaboratively with greater impact - solving the individual problems they face and helping them collectively build the communities they want.Identifying local initiatives that communities care about to tackle challenges, ‘helping the good grow’ and influencing positive change by creating links with other community groups, arranging resource from local businesses and providing financial support.
