To carry out actiities which benefit the community in particular to promote performance arts by the establishment and maintenance of one ormore mobile stages and / or performance spaces;

We have an inclusion policy and ensure that all our work is as inclusive as possible, we encourage people who consider themselvest o have adisability to work with us both backstage and also to perform

For the year ending 31 May 2023 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Company activities and impact

Company activities and impactThe company runs and operates the Melodrome Mobile Stage. During the financial year 2022-2023 the companies activities benfited the community in the following ways:The stage has presented at 12 events to the general public between April and December Total potential audience for events:Eden Festival: 10,000, Another Fine Fest: 50,000, Egremont: 3,000, Lowry Dance: 3,000 Solfest @ 10,000 attendeesWinter Droving @ 20,000 attendeesLancaster music festival @ 50,000 attendees plus an average attendance of 3,000 attendeees at the other events. We supproted an arts council bid and subsequent dance performance show for yourng people, we introduced more participatory events encouraging people to perform with us - we estimate to have encouraged over 1,000 people to perform. 250 volunteers assisted with events including 15 young people under the age of 18. All volunteers received training in back-stage, front of house and support services involved with the successful staging of performance arts events.
