Silver Lining has been able to provide high levels of individual support, workshops or remote support to families. These families may or may not have been disadvantaged by either disability, economic status, ethnicity, gender or language or religious belief. The company has provided numerous free support hours. These have consisted of support to low income families in order to achieve EHCP, change of placement or specialist placement for their child. This year we have supported families by working alongside schools and professionals. It has also included individual assessment for children. Working in conjunction with local authorities, families and professionals, we have achieved specialist placements. Mediation and Tribunal support in working documents to support local authorities decisions, challenge then and allow moving forward, children now have agreed EHCPs with funding and placements.
Following consultation with previously supported families, we have added further support to families with microdeletion of chromosomes.
