We provide an essential service to the community, providing quality childcare, education and forest school for children aged 9 months to 4 years. We have supported parents with their well-being and parenting skills and provided social events for parents to make vital connections with one another. We work with schools to ensure a smooth transition from our nursery to primary school. We support our children with additional needs and create individual learning plans for these children. The impact is that we have recently gained a new Ofsted registration and are expanding gradually to accommodate more children including children from 9 months old. We have increased our staff team to 6 plus 3 supply staff.
We have regular verbal and written (email) consultation with stakeholders through parent feedback and we make changes to suit their needs. We have recently started to offer more places to children who are wanting to join our setting. We have responded to the recent government rollout of increased funded childcare for children from 9 months old and are offering additional places to meet the demand.
Directors’ remuneration of £66,421 as detailed in the accounts was paid in the year. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
