Cobra Boxing Club C.I.C has provided free of charge martial arts training to both adults and children across two days. The club is open to everybody and has catered to many people from ethnic minority families, women and girls and children from low income families. The club took 10 children to compete in the Youth Qingda National Championships and covered all expenses required for participation.I, Angelo, have received awards for my voluntary work and the club was nominated for Sports Club of the Year. The club has also partnered with the University of Roehampton in order to provide the community with a large training venue to ensure sessions not only remain free of charge but compare with commercially run martial arts clubs.
Consultations take place with the community manager at the University of Roehampton. The University is happy for the club to use their facility and we continue to work together.
No remuneration was received
