The company runs a food rescue service, out of date food (which is still good to eat) is collected from the supermarkets. This is then available for people in the Ickleford village and surrounding areas to come and take away, sometimes for a donation, therefore saving food from being thrown in to landfill. Some larder staples, toiletries and cleaning products are then purchased with the donations which are made available for the people who are struggling to make ends meet. During the last year the company helped around 70 families in total, included in this number there were 50 families who needed the help due to the cost of living crisis.
